Warts are among the common skin structures which man has learned to hate
over time. They usually are small, rough tumors which have a bumpy,
unsmooth surface. Warts com in different colors, sizes and shapes. Warts
can affect almost anybody, and in any part of the skin. Warts, unlike
pimples, do not grow on everybody. Others may be susceptible to the
development of warts, while some are just strong enough such that warts
don’t grow on them.

There are many different ways in getting rid of warts, but first you
should be able to determine what causes them so you know what kind of
treatment can be done.
There is actually just one reason why warts develop: the human
papillomavirus (HPV). It is a viral infection which attacks the skin as
well as the immune system. You can easily contract the illness from skin
contact, from a person who has the illness. The virus is not limited to
skin contact-you may have used someone else’s towel, picked your nails
or have scratched someone else’s back.
The HPV virus thrives in wounds, scratches and cuts found in humans and
animals. The virus, as soon as it penetrates the open wound, they form
warts. Warts, depending on the virus, grow slow-it can take them months
or even years in order to be visible to the naked eye. |
